"I would like to chat to someone generally about career progression and confidence.

It was a really good opportunity to have a no-stress chat with a woman with great experience, and also hear from other mentors in different career fields with similar challenges. I received practical tips on identifying what you can control, and it’s never too late to make changes - I just need to have your strategy."

"I needed guidance whether my next role should be Marketing Director/CMO or if my skills in business, marketing, change management, and project management could take me in a slightly different direction.

I had a productive talk with and received various pieces of advice. I was able to connect through LinkedIn with the ladies I walked with, and, as in previous walks, I left the space uplifted, feeling more confident and hopeful after this talk to keep going on in my professional journey."

"I've been going through a challenging time career-wise. I have an upcoming interview and I've been dealing with lack of confidence and suffering imposter syndrome.

I received guidance and support from both the mentor and the other mentee regarding my impostor syndrome. In terms of my preparation, I was assured not feel afraid of asking for pauses (English is my second language) and to show genuine interest."

⎯ Aditi, Wollongong mentee

"I need help in figuring out my next step.

My mentor inspired me to think about some guide questions. My fellow mentee also mentioned a 12-month plan. I followed her up and asked for more. She is super nice and told me I could reach out if I have more questions - so as my mentor!"

⎯ Diana, Wollongong mentee
