CALGARY COMMUNITY COORDINATOR (CC)
As a Community Coordinator, you’ll help build community and connection with mentees, ensuring that mentees have a positive, fulfilling experience with Mentor Walks. You’ll also work to increase participation and engagement in your local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with mentees.
- Plan and deliver your location’s local area content and marketing plan to engage and grow mentees.
- Capture content and video for marketing purposes.
- Promote events on social media and collect feedback for improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Marketing experience.
- Know the location well and also be well connected.
- Must be able to attend all walks and commit to 5 hours per walk, including preparation and supporting the in-person events. Walks in Calgary are along the Bow River at 7:10 AM - 8:30 AM on Wednesdays on the following dates in 2025: 16 April, 14 May, 11 June, 10 September, 8 October and 5 November.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- An eye for detail and the ability to help manage schedules, logistics, and mentee outreach.
- Passionate about empowering women and increasing the reach of our community.

Content Marketer at Mentor Walks, Tess’s professional life is shaped by a desire to drive gender equality and build an inclusive society. Her passion and experience saw her lead the social media arm of the Teach Us Consent campaign, pulling mandatory consent education for Australian students over the line in March 2022.
She is currently completing her Bachelor of Communications (Social and Political Science) at UTS and is most energised and inspired when surrounded with powerhouse women.
