Anita Allen is an Associate Director at URPS. URPS is a dynamic and diverse form of town planners and allied professionals.

Anita helped to shape the South Australian planning system as it is today. During her time in the State Government, she played a central role in creating the Planning & Design Code and several other new planning instruments. Anita also led the Case Management Service for significant development applications and was responsible for the delivery of the State’s rezoning program.

Now working as a consultant with URPS, Anita combines significant planning know-how with skills in leadership, stakeholder management, community engagement, governance and change management.

Anita is also a recent recipient of the UDIA SA Women in Leadership Award. This award acknowledges and promotes the positive contribution of women to the development industry.
