Catherine Lappe is currently the Assistant Deputy Minister for Child and Family Services Reform at Indigenous Services Canada. Over her her careers, she has worked in senior positions in the Government of Canada where she has led multi-functional and dispersed teams in a number of departments and regions in Canada. Catherine believes in the positive role of government in advancing social justice and equity and thrives in environments where true partnerships can be established to innovate policies, programs and practice and is a strong supporter of diversity of workforce. Catherine has lived in Vancouver since 2001 and is the proud mother of a teenager who is poised to be a confident leader and change maker in her own right.
