With a career spanning over twenty years, Catherine Walsh is known as an innovative problem-solver, strong negotiator and strategic values-based leader and mentor. She has extensive leadership experience at both the federal and state levels of government across the Defence, Finance and Veterans’ Affairs portfolios in the areas of social policy, program management and human resources.
Catherine has served the Australian public in a variety of ways, including 14 years as an intelligence officer in the Royal Australian Air Force. Realising her career purpose over a decade ago, Catherine is committed to working towards improving the lives of Australians now and into the future through public service. Catherine is passionate about building capacity in her teams and across the communities she supports to achieve their greatest potential.
A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Catherine also holds tertiary qualifications in human resource management and law. In 2017, Catherine was an ACT finalist in the Public Sector and Academia category of the renowned Telstra Business Women’s Awards.
