Helen is the chair of Bank of us and a non executive director on the boards of Hydro Tasmania and TT-Line. As a professional non executive director she is or has been Chair of Audit or Audit & Risk, HR & Remuneration and Corporate Governance committees. She has also served as a Deputy Chair of Tasracing and as a director of Tasracing and Singapore Hockey Federation.

Prior to becoming a company director, Helen held senior roles in Asia with Las Vegas Sands Corporation as Vice President – Strategic Analysis at Sands China Limited then as Vice President – Casino Development and Strategic Analysis at Marina Bay Sands. Prior to this she was Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Wynn Macau.

Helen brings core skills of commercial strategy, finance, information systems and analytics to the organisations she works with. She is well versed in rapidly changing regulatory environments and finds them intellectually stimulating. Helen is passionate about gender equity and inclusion.

She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of CPA Australia. Helen schooled and grew up in Tasmania and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Information Systems from University of Tasmania.

In Helen’s spare time she can be found on the hockey field, riding a mountain bike or in her garden, with an enjoyment of growing and preparing her own food.
