Kristy was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court in 2004. Her first role was as Chamber Magistrate/ Assistant Coroner for the Attorney General's Department. The past 18 years she has spent at the Office of the DPP, where she has served as a solicitor, Managing Lawyer, Trial Advocate before rising to the role of Crown Prosecutor. Her role involves prosecuting serious and complex criminal trials on behalf of the State. She has appeared in several high-profile prosecutions, including historical child sexual abuse trials following the Royal Commission into Institutional Abuse, and murder prosecutions.
