Lana is currently the General Manager and National Head of Quality Management at Moore Australia, a mid-tier accounting firm. She has considerable experience of the accounting, audit and advisory sector, having trained in a Big 4 accounting firm and been a Partner in a Chartered Accounting firm in South Africa. Lana also has significant experience in governance, consulting and education having been a non-executive Director of listed groups, as well as an Associate Professor in an Accounting department and committee member of professional accounting and audit bodies.
Lana is a graduate member of AICD and has been awarded her Fellowship of CAANZ, primarily in recognition of her commitment to education and development of chartered accountants spanning her 30 year career.
Lana’s overriding passion is for people development. This has been evident in her research and involvement in various accounting professional and academic bodies and has led to her mentoring many young professionals and training mentors on a global level for the Moore network.
