Liza Noonan is Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Investment NSW. Before this role Liza was Executive Director of Innovation Districts at the Greater Cities Commission leading economic development initiatives at Tech Central, Westmead and Macquarie Park.

Prior to NSW Government Liza was with the CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, joining as the founder of the ON Accelerator and then Director of Global, based in Singapore, where she served as the Australian Counsellor for Science and Innovation.

Liza was the first CEO of Springboard Enterprises in Australia – a program supporting female founders raise growth capital and served on the Boards of alternative dairy start up Eden Brew and the Australian Chamber of Commerce Singapore.

Liza is passionate about innovation as a driver for economic development and resilience and the value of entrepreneurship in looking at the world differently to solve key problems for our society and planet.
