Sandra commenced practice at the Independent Bar in 2009, prior to which she was a partner at Phillips Taglieri, Barristers and Solicitors. She has extensive experience in most areas of civil litigation having practised in it for over 30 years.
Sandra has represented plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. She has conducted prosecutions in disciplinary matters (in Tasmania and interstate), appeared in many trials, as Counsel in Coronial Inquests, appeals from lower courts/tribunals and appeals to the Full Court of the Supreme Court of Tasmania. Sandra was appointed a Judge of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia in May 2021.
