Shelby Yee is a geological engineer and the co-founder and CEO of RockMass, a geosciences technology firm that is modernizing mapping and data collection for geologists and engineers. Shelby has grown RockMass from a PhD thesis to a multinational corporation serving the world’s largest mining companies across five continents.   Shelby is a Queen’s University alumni, recipient of Forbes 30 Under 30 and the Young Mining Professionals Eira Thomas Award. Most recently she joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada as a board member and hopes to support the mining industry in its sustainability efforts. Her favourite hobby is enjoying the outdoors in every season. She is continuously finding new ways to appreciate natural environment which includes backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and canoe tripping. Her favourite outdoor pursuit was a 1,400km canoe trip across the Arctic.
